Innovation is constantly driving change across the boating industry: new products and services, evolving practices, improved user experiences, environmental transition and more.
Through Cap Innovation, the Paris Nautic Show aims to showcase those who are shaping the future of boating and highlight solutions that are making a tangible contribution to the industry’s evolution.
Open to both Paris Nautic Show exhibitors and non-exhibitors, the competition welcomes applications from all players in the boating industry, regardless of their size: boatbuilders, equipment manufacturers, engine manufacturers, service providers, start-ups, associations and project developers.
Participation in the competition is free of charge.

Celebrating Innovation
Three Cap Innovation Awards will be presented at the Paris Nautic Show 2026:
Innovative Product
Recognising a product or piece of equipment that delivers a significant improvement in terms of use, performance or design.
Innovative Service
Highlighting a service that offers a new response to the needs of boating professionals or users.
Eco-Responsible Innovation
Rewarding an innovation that makes a tangible contribution to reducing the environmental impact of boating activities and supporting the industry’s environmental transition.
MAKING YOURSELF KNOWN
Why Apply?
Taking part in Cap Innovation is an opportunity to showcase your innovation to the entire boating industry and benefit from dedicated visibility before and during the Paris Nautic Show.
Projects selected as finalists will be featured across the show’s communication channels — website, newsletters, social media and press relations — and will be identified during the event as part of the Innovation Trail, with dedicated signage. The three winners will also benefit from additional visibility following the competition.
Cap Innovation also gives selected applicants the opportunity to present their solution at the heart of the Paris Nautic Show, assess its relevance to market expectations and meet industry professionals, media representatives and key players from across the sector.

Key Dates for Cap Innovation 2026
Applications
Applicants complete and submit their application, presenting their innovation together with the information required for the jury to assess its innovative nature and relevance.
Until 30 October
Finalist Selection
The jury, made up of boating industry professionals and specialist journalists, will review the applications and select the finalists.
First Half of November
Finalists Announced
Successful applicants will be informed and the finalists will be announced across the Paris Nautic Show’s communication channels.
16 November 2026
Final and Awards Ceremony
The winners of the three categories will be announced at 2:30 pm on the Nautic Stage at the Paris Nautic Show.
